The classic style and romantic details of Suzanna & Matt’s June wedding are enough to perk up even the most sour of Wednesdays. From the custom lollipops at the guest book table to the elaborate horse-drawn carriage, each detail was carefully planned and flawlessly executed. Jody & Jordan’s wedding was amazing. As we drove to their chapel on a hill, the view was breathtaking. The church was set against the gorgeous Ozark hills that became more enchanting around curve. The day itself was perfect, a fairytale wedding of two people who are simply in love surrounded by family and friends. I enjoyed getting to know their families and loved spending time with them during one of the most significant moments in their lives. Thanks for sharing your life with me! Enjoy!
Brandon and Sheena are in love. I suppose that is assumed since this was their engagement session and they are going to get married–but that is the one thing that was really evident when I was able to spend time with them for this session. I never had to urge them to stand closer, hold hands, or look at one another–they just naturally fell into that pattern. It was incredible to see how much Brandon cared for and protected Sheena–he looked at her like he was the luckiest guy in the world. Sheena’s excitement to marry Brandon was bubbling over as she described the wedding and how supportive Brandon had been. Every once in a while, you meet one of these rare couples–and it is so much fun to share in their bliss. Enjoy!
Dexter and Erin are adorable. There is simply no other way to say it. As you take a sneak peek into their lives through these pictures, you will immediately notice the joy they share. Their laughter was infectious and I know it will be a foundation for their marriage. I am excited to see how their relationship grows and changes as their wedding approaches this June. You may remember Jordan and Sarah from a shoot I did with them this past winter. This session was considerably warmer, with fewer snow angels, but it was still such a great time of laughter and excitement. They brought their adorable dogs and we were able to spend a wonderful evening downtown.It was so fun to watch Jordan and Sarah interact with each other because their love was evident. You may remember Cory & Lindsey from a Pre-Engagement shoot last Fall and I was incredibly lucky to be able to shoot with them again during this much warmer season! When Lindsey talked to me, she had an amazing idea to set up a picnic because that is a favorite past time of theirs. (They even have an ADORABLE picnic basket–how cute is that!?) I have to start this post by saying that I absolutely love what I do. Building relationships with clients and just hanging out with them for a few hours is always such a blessing. I love getting to know my clients because, honestly, they’re awesome people! Willie and Heather had me feeling very lucky getting to spend the afternoon with them all around Joplin. We starting off walking near Wildcat Glades, just soaking up the incredible weather, and winding up in Downtown Joplin. They were so easygoing and laid back that I felt like we were old friends reconnecting. I loved learning about their lives and all the details of their (non-frou frou) wedding day. Travis and Melissa are the quintessential cute couple. They just seem to fit together like puzzle pieces, like they were made to go together. The love and respect they have for each other is easy and comfortable, like a warm summer breeze. The tender moments and secret laughs they shared transformed this photo shoot into a glimpse of their future lives together. I really enjoyed my time with them and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this summer!
