Alright, now that you’re comfortable…this post is going to have a lot of pictures! I wish I could say it was because I my heart was overflowing with generosity or because I am a sly, business savvy person and this strategy would enhance my business, but truth be told – I just couldn’t decide!!

Daniel & Jordan are such an adorable husband-and-wife-to-be. They were so easy to work with and are so naturally cute that it made my job super easy! Their perfect balance between the best of friends and head-over-heels in love made them so comfortable together that the entire shoot just felt effortless. Daniel & Jordan, I simply loved spending time with you and I hope you enjoy your pictures!

Charlie+Megan {Carthage MO Engagement Photography Dallas TX}

I have a super fun engagement session to share with you today! I work with Megan and have loved sharing in her anticipation, engagement, and now wedding planning! She always brings in her hand-made wedding accessories and we certainly spend plenty of time ooh-ing and ahh-ing over her latest detail. So, when she asked me about doing her engagement photos, I was thrilled! Not only because Charlie and Megan are such a cute couple, but also because I knew she would come up with the cutest concept for her session – and she did not disappoint! So, for their fun, fall session, we drove to Carthage, MO to a place called Red Oak II. Let me just tell you, it was adorable! The whole area was designed by a local artist and it provided the perfect backdrop! I am so excited to share their photos with you!

Jamie+Heidi {Joplin MO Engagement Photography Dallas TX}

Last weekend, I was so excited to finally meet Jamie & Heidi for their engagement session – it was a blast. I had such a great time getting to know them better and hearing about their wedding plans. They were such troopers – we hiked quite a bit, avoided a swarm of crickets, and even saw a giant spider (I exaggerate sometimes, but this is no fish-tale – it was HUGE! We promptly moved locations!) but I think it was totally worth it. Their love is obvious and it is wonderful to spend time with a couple who is so comfortable together. It was so much fun to hang out with you, Jamie & Heidi, I am looking forward to your wedding!

Nicholas+Lisa {Joplin, MO Engagement Photography}

I am so excited for this sweet and sophisticated couple’s wedding! I truly enjoyed spending time with them during our engagement session – they are one of those couples that really makes me enjoy what I do. Their interaction made it obvious that they appreciated and cared for each other very much. It was so amazing to see how sweet and thoughtful they were towards one another. Tom+Heather {Joplin, MO Engagement Photography)

Tom & Heather are so cute together it’s almost disarming. The way they smile at each other, the way they make each other laugh, the way they hold hands. Every couple is unique in the way they display their love, and with these two, it’s just a whole lot of joy. They were certainly not having any “serious” pictures – any time Heather tried, Tom would whisper in her ear and she would burst into laughter. Just being around them made my day brighter! They will most certainly share a lifetime of grins and happiness, and I can’t wait to capture some of those moments on their wedding day. Brandon + Courtney {Joplin, MO Wedding and Engagement Photographer}

Brandon & Courtney are the type of couple I live for: completely in love, incredibly excited to be getting married, glowing with joy and excitement, and wanting to share it with everyone they know. Just being around them is so heartwarming that I just couldn’t help but smile and know that I was apart of something truly unique. I just loved photographing their sweet summer wedding – from their adventurous bridal party to their little intimate moments, it was a wedding that makes me love what I do. Brandon+Sheena {Joplin Missouri MO Engagement Wedding Photography}

Brandon and Sheena are in love. I suppose that is assumed since this was their engagement session and they are going to get married–but that is the one thing that was really evident when I was able to spend time with them for this session. I never had to urge them to stand closer, hold hands, or look at one another–they just naturally fell into that pattern. It was incredible to see how much Brandon cared for and protected Sheena–he looked at her like he was the luckiest guy in the world. Sheena’s excitement to marry Brandon was bubbling over as she described the wedding and how supportive Brandon had been. Every once in a while, you meet one of these rare couples–and it is so much fun to share in their bliss. Enjoy!

Dexter + Erin {Joplin Missouri Wedding Engagement Photography}

Dexter and Erin are adorable. There is simply no other way to say it. As you take a sneak peek into their lives through these pictures, you will immediately notice the joy they share. Their laughter was infectious and I know it will be a foundation for their marriage. I am excited to see how their relationship grows and changes as their wedding approaches this June. Jordan + Sarah {Joplin Missouri Wedding Engagement Photography}

You may remember Jordan and Sarah from a shoot I did with them this past winter. This session was considerably warmer, with fewer snow angels, but it was still such a great time of laughter and excitement. They brought their adorable dogs and we were able to spend a wonderful evening downtown.It was so fun to watch Jordan and Sarah interact with each other because their love was evident. I am excited for their wedding this summer and to show you this preview of the second part of their engagement session!

Cory+Lindsey Engagement {Joplin Missouri Engagement Photography}

You may remember Cory & Lindsey from a Pre-Engagement shoot last Fall and I was incredibly lucky to be able to shoot with them again during this much warmer season! When Lindsey talked to me, she had an amazing idea to set up a picnic because that is a favorite past time of theirs. (They even have an ADORABLE picnic basket–how cute is that!?)
