Alright, now that you’re comfortable…this post is going to have a lot of pictures! I wish I could say it was because I my heart was overflowing with generosity or because I am a sly, business savvy person and this strategy would enhance my business, but truth be told – I just couldn’t decide!!

Daniel & Jordan are such an adorable husband-and-wife-to-be. They were so easy to work with and are so naturally cute that it made my job super easy! Their perfect balance between the best of friends and head-over-heels in love made them so comfortable together that the entire shoot just felt effortless. Daniel & Jordan, I simply loved spending time with you and I hope you enjoy your pictures!

Nicholas & Lisa {Pittsburg KS Dallas TX Wedding Photography}

Nicholas and Lisa are such a fun couple – from the very first time we met, I knew I was going to love being apart of their day! Fortunately, I was right! You might remember them from their fun Engagement Session earlier this year. They make such a cute couple and more than anything, it is obvious how happy they make one another. It is always such a joy to be able to capture a real, genuine, straight from the heart smile and with these two, that wasn’t difficult. Brandon+Beth {Joplin MO Wedding Photography Dallas TX}

Brandon & Beth’s wedding day was as sweet as they come! Their intimate wedding showcased the sweet country details perfectly – including sunflower and wheat bouquets, they even had little cupcakes instead of a wedding cake. The day also had several vintage touches – the bride wore her mother’s wedding dress and the ceremony was underscored by an array of orchestral songs from the Beatles. It was a joy to be apart of their day and I am thrilled to share part of their wedding with you!

Brandon+Sheena {Joplin, MO Dallas TX Wedding Photography}

Brandon & Sheena’s late summer wedding was beautiful – it was held at the gorgeous and historic Scottish Rite Cathedral in downtown Joplin. Their ceremony was elegant and simple followed by one of the most fun receptions I have ever attended. There were a ton of kiddos in this sweet wedding and they were all SO much fun to watch on the dance floor! Thanks for allowing me to share this day with you!

I am so excited for this sweet and sophisticated couple’s wedding! I truly enjoyed spending time with them during our engagement session – they are one of those couples that really makes me enjoy what I do. Their interaction made it obvious that they appreciated and cared for each other very much. It was so amazing to see how sweet and thoughtful they were towards one another. Tom+Heather {Joplin, MO Engagement Photography)

Tom & Heather are so cute together it’s almost disarming. The way they smile at each other, the way they make each other laugh, the way they hold hands. Every couple is unique in the way they display their love, and with these two, it’s just a whole lot of joy. They were certainly not having any “serious” pictures – any time Heather tried, Tom would whisper in her ear and she would burst into laughter. Just being around them made my day brighter! They will most certainly share a lifetime of grins and happiness, and I can’t wait to capture some of those moments on their wedding day. Brandon + Courtney {Joplin, MO Wedding and Engagement Photographer}

Brandon & Courtney are the type of couple I live for: completely in love, incredibly excited to be getting married, glowing with joy and excitement, and wanting to share it with everyone they know. Just being around them is so heartwarming that I just couldn’t help but smile and know that I was apart of something truly unique. I just loved photographing their sweet summer wedding – from their adventurous bridal party to their little intimate moments, it was a wedding that makes me love what I do. Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day:

Travis + Melissa {Branson MO Wedding Photography}

Precious…simply precious. That is the only way I can describe Travis & Melissa’s wedding. First of all, this couple simply fits together–the way they look at each other reminds me of the end of a sweet Romantic Comedy where all the wrongs have been righted and all the mishaps have been overcome and for one perfect scene you see their relationship pure and uninterrupted. That perfect scene at the end is Travis & Melissa’s wedding. Second, their ceremony was held in a restored barn. Is there anything more romantic!? Well, yes…Travis began singing at the beginning of the ceremony and as he reached a swell in the song the barn doors swung open and there she stood–all their planning and anticipation led up to this moment. He choked up and I think every person in that barn lost it–like I said…precious! I enjoyed their wedding day so much and I truly hope you are able to see their mutual love and respect displayed in their pictures.

Zachary + Molly {Joplin Pittsburg, KS Wedding Photographer}

Zachary & Molly are probably the most laid back couple I have ever met, which is completely perfect! Even though I believe their wedding was on one of the hottest days of the year, they were such great sports about wiping their brow and maintaining their joy. Between the beautiful bride and her stunning bridesmaids, I don’t think anything could have dampened their moods. Molly was beaming the moment I walked in that morning until the time I left and it was all due to Zachary, whose reassuring glances proved that this couple is truly in love. It was such an honor to be apart of Zachary & Molly’s big day!

 

Dexter+Erin {Joplin MO OK Wedding Photography}

Dexter & Erin’s personality came through in every detail of their classic wedding day. They were surrounded by friends and family who were excited to celebrate. The childhood pictures displayed at the reception showed off their playful disposition, as well as commitment to their heritage. And finally, (I suppose you could say the “icing on the cake”) the groom’s cake was not vanilla or chocolate, but jello! I hope you enjoy these pictures from Dexter & Erin’s day!
