Luzadder Family {Dallas TX Family Photographer}

John, Michelle, and their three boys are very close to my heart. John and Michelle led my high school youth group and truly helped me to understand what it meant to live a life for Christ. They are people I have always looked up to – as a couple, as parents, and as individuals. You will be hard-pressed to find someone as creative and kind as Michelle, and John is the kind of man who always takes care of you, laughs with you, and always has your back.

My husband and I are convinced that we are married today because of something John said while we were in high school (“Only 10% of high school relationships will result in marriage.”) He didn’t realize that was a challenge to be the 10%!They are an amazing, Godly family who are simply real-life examples of caring for each other deeply and putting God first.

Not to mention, their boys may very well be the cutest brothers I’ve ever met! When Atticus and Silas run over, yelling your name, and give you a big hug every time they see you, I promise your heart will melt! They are always busy saving the world (and their mom) from the baddest bad guys and most villainous villains. It has been such a joy to grow up around this family and I hope you enjoy their photos!

Jamie+Heidi {Dallas TX Wedding Photography}

Jamie & Heidi’s wedding was simply gorgeous! It was held outdoors at Springhouse Gardens under a huge tree at sunset – magical! It was so incredible to see them surrounded by friends and family and I loved watching them grin from ear-to-ear the entire night. I loved this wedding and getting to know this fun couple…and I loved when they fed cake to each other even more! (Just wait…)

Daniel & Jordan {Dallas TX Engagement Photography}

I’d like to invite you to grab a cup of hot chocolate, a cozy blanket and settle in because this is going to be a long one!

Alright, now that you’re comfortable…this post is going to have a lot of pictures! I wish I could say it was because I my heart was overflowing with generosity or because I am a sly, business savvy person and this strategy would enhance my business, but truth be told – I just couldn’t decide!!

Daniel & Jordan are such an adorable husband-and-wife-to-be. They were so easy to work with and are so naturally cute that it made my job super easy! Their perfect balance between the best of friends and head-over-heels in love made them so comfortable together that the entire shoot just felt effortless. Daniel & Jordan, I simply loved spending time with you and I hope you enjoy your pictures!

Nicholas & Lisa {Pittsburg KS Dallas TX Wedding Photography}

Nicholas and Lisa are such a fun couple – from the very first time we met, I knew I was going to love being apart of their day! Fortunately, I was right! You might remember them from their fun Engagement Session earlier this year. They make such a cute couple and more than anything, it is obvious how happy they make one another. It is always such a joy to be able to capture a real, genuine, straight from the heart smile and with these two, that wasn’t difficult. Nicholas and Lisa, thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your beautiful day!

Tom+Heather {Joplin MO Wedding Photography}

Heather and I have been sharing life together for quite some time – I remember when she refused to admit that she was interested in Tom, then when they began to date, then during their engagement, and now I am so incredibly excited to finally share their wedding photos with you! You may remember them from one of my favorite shoots of all time, or more recently from their Engagement Session. Tom & Heather are the kind of couple that make you believe in soul mates because they are simply perfect for each other.

Their wedding day was simply a dream – ceremony at sunset, surrounded by friends and family, dancing under the stars…I truly don’t think it could have been any better.  I will tell you that I have seen my fair share of weddings and I can remain dry-eyed through even the most touching ceremony, but seeing Tom choke up as he finally got to see his bride and Heather hold back tears as she recited her vows were some of the most precious moments I have ever witnessed. My eyes welled up and I bet there wasn’t a single person there who didn’t gaze lovingly into their significant other’s eyes. More than any of the details of the wedding, their love for each other was evident. It was a joy to watch them walk down the aisle as husband and wife, to dance together as a married couple, and to catch each other’s eye from across the room. This day was not simply about a ceremony, it was the beginning of a life-long commitment to love, honor, and cherish one another – a promise everyone could tell was near to their hearts.

Tom & Heather, thank you for allowing me to be apart of your lives during a time that means so much to you. Getting to be there was a joy and a blessing that I will always hold in my heart, and getting to eat pie was even better! (Only joking)

Charlie+Megan {Carthage MO Engagement Photography Dallas TX}

I have a super fun engagement session to share with you today! I work with Megan and have loved sharing in her anticipation, engagement, and now wedding planning! She always brings in her hand-made wedding accessories and we certainly spend plenty of time ooh-ing and ahh-ing over her latest detail. So, when she asked me about doing her engagement photos, I was thrilled! Not only because Charlie and Megan are such a cute couple, but also because I knew she would come up with the cutest concept for her session – and she did not disappoint! So, for their fun, fall session, we drove to Carthage, MO to a place called Red Oak II. Let me just tell you, it was adorable! The whole area was designed by a local artist and it provided the perfect backdrop! I am so excited to share their photos with you!

Jamie+Heidi {Joplin MO Engagement Photography Dallas TX}

Last weekend, I was so excited to finally meet Jamie & Heidi for their engagement session – it was a blast. I had such a great time getting to know them better and hearing about their wedding plans. They were such troopers – we hiked quite a bit, avoided a swarm of crickets, and even saw a giant spider (I exaggerate sometimes, but this is no fish-tale – it was HUGE! We promptly moved locations!) but I think it was totally worth it. Their love is obvious and it is wonderful to spend time with a couple who is so comfortable together. It was so much fun to hang out with you, Jamie & Heidi, I am looking forward to your wedding!

“There’s nothing you can make that can’t be made.
No one you can save that can’t be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time – It’s easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.”

Brandon & Beth’s wedding day was as sweet as they come! Their intimate wedding showcased the sweet country details perfectly – including sunflower and wheat bouquets, they even had little cupcakes instead of a wedding cake. The day also had several vintage touches – the bride wore her mother’s wedding dress and the ceremony was underscored by an array of orchestral songs from the Beatles. It was a joy to be apart of their day and I am thrilled to share part of their wedding with you!

Matt+Kala {Tulsa OK Wedding Photography Dallas TX}

Whimsical: [wim-zi-kuhl] adj. 1. Capricious humor or disposition, given to whimsy 2. Fanciful, excessively playful

When you walk to a ceremony site being drenched by rain and you see the groom and his groomsmen marching with military precision (and chanting) under a line of umbrellas to avoid getting soaked followed by the sweet sound of the bride and her bridesmaids laughing as they ensure she stays away from the window of their cottage, you know it is going to be a great day. That initial impression certainly set the tone for this day filled with laughter, friends, and whimsy. The bride and groom had planned the whole day flawlessly – from the giant stack(s!) of cookies in lieu of a cake, and the fun wall of photos in the barn for the guests to vote (I wonder who wound up with the cutest smile…), to the vintage couch and hilarious props to create a very unique guestbook. And I certainly can’t forget the incredibly important groom’s cake! (Kuddos to the guys who donned US Soccer jerseys underneath their button down shirts!)

The whole wedding was highlighted perfectly by Matt & Kala’s sweet relationship – they are so playful, loving, and full of joy. It was obvious that those who attended, myself included, felt honored to be sharing in this day with two people who were so clearly in love.

Brandon+Sheena {Joplin, MO Dallas TX Wedding Photography}

Brandon & Sheena’s late summer wedding was beautiful – it was held at the gorgeous and historic Scottish Rite Cathedral in downtown Joplin. Their ceremony was elegant and simple followed by one of the most fun receptions I have ever attended. There were a ton of kiddos in this sweet wedding and they were all SO much fun to watch on the dance floor! Thanks for allowing me to share this day with you!
